From January 28 to February 5, 2025, two final-year UPNG students, Deborah Lailan and Cash Haro Mekere, traveled to Japan for the JENESYS 2024 program. They represented Papua New Guinea alongside 17 participants from Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and Palau, under the theme “Marine Ocean.”
