
The Pacific Center for Island Security, a think tank funded by a US$445,000 grant from Carnegie Corporation, aims to examine the implications of the great power competition between the United States and the People’s Republic of China, and what it means for the Pacific islands and Micronesia, according to Dr Robert Underwood, PCIS chairman.
