THE Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) refers to the recent announcement of a 5 per cent tariff increase for PNG Power Limited by Kumul Consolidated Holding Limited (KCHL) and statement made by the IPP Investment Group (IP3) chairman, David Burbidge supporting this increase and going against the Minister for State Enterprises William Duma’s intervention to stop the 5 per cent power price increase published in the National dated 10th March 2025.
