The Goroka Eye Clinic, in partnership with the Eastern Highlands Provincial Health Authority (EHPHA) and Christian Blind Mission (CBM), recently conducted an extensive eye surgery program. Initially, they planned to accommodate 125 patients, but the clinic successfully performed 75 surgeries, with some procedures postponed to the following month due to patient medical conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
