The Constitutional and Law Reform Commission (CLRC) recently hosted a to share its final recommendations on how laws should deal with police brutality in Papua New Guinea. This was part of their review of “Terms of Reference 24,” which looked specifically at vicarious liability, meaning when one person or group is held responsible for the actions of another, in this case, the police.
