The Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA) PNG held a cleanathon on Saturday, June 07, 2025, at the Bootless Bay in Central Province. This cleanathon is held on the first Saturday of each month to address the cleanup of waste, particularly plastic waste, that is being dumped into the ocean, causing stress to corals and marine life.
