The Bank of Papua New Guinea (BPNG) today unveiled the designs for a new commemorative 50 Kina banknote and 50 Toea coin, marking the nation’s upcoming 50th Anniversary of Independence.
The new currency will be released into circulation later this year, coinciding with the Independence Day celebrations.
