After a long wait of six years, the memories flooded back as I stepped off the plane at Madang Airport on the 8th of June 2025. The familiar humidity and warmth welcomed me, just as I remembered from my graduation day in 2019 from Divine Word University (DWU). This time, however, I was not a student but a nostalgic alumnus returning to the place that had shaped my future.
