Jemimah lives in the mountains of Ungai-Bena District in Eastern Highlands. There are no roads to her village. The only way to reach help is to walk for hours—across rivers and up steep hills—to get to a health centre. She did that even when she was pregnant, carrying more than just her baby. She carried the fear of what might happen along the way.
